    party cookies, to, among other things, analyze and track users’ use of our services and

    our mobile application, determine the popularity of certain content and better
    understand online activity.

     

    By accessing our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information by these third-party vendors. You are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions. We do not transfer personal information to these third-party vendors. However, if you do not want
    any information to be collected and used by tracking technologies, you can inform the
    third-party vendor.

    also clear certain opt-out cookies, plug-ins, or settings.

    online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we

    8. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

    Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”)
    feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data
    about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology
    standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized.

     

    As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that
    automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online
    tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that
    practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy. Most web browsers and some mobile
    operating systems may include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can
    activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing
    activities monitored and collected. If you set the DNT signal on your browser, we will

    10. COMPLIANCE WITH PERSONAL PROTECTION OF INFORMATION ACT
    4 OF 2013

     

    The Personal Protection of Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) came into effect on 01 July
    2020. To ensure Compliance Motshodi Consultancy has put measures in place to comply
    with the following:

     

    • Accountability: Motshodi will ensure that the conditions of the Act are complied with at the time of determination of the Act. To this end, the company has appointed a compliance officer.

    • Processing limitation: The processing of personal information must be limited to lawful processing in a reasonable manner that does not infringe the privacy of any person that uses our services.

    • Purpose specification: When collecting information, it must be for a specific, defined and lawful purpose. Motshodi must inform you of the purpose of the required information.

    • Further processing limitation: Motshodi will require your consent to put personal information to further use, e.g. passing on information to a third party.

    • Information quality: Motshodi must take steps to ensure that the information collected is complete, accurate and continually updated where necessary.

    • Openness: When requesting information, we must ensure that you are aware of the information collected, the source of the information, the name and address of the responsible party, the purpose for which the information is requested and what law if any, prescribes the disclosure of information. 

    • Security Safeguards: Motshodi must take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information in its possession remains secure. We will do this through considering virus programs, back-ups and off-site storage. Should there be reasonable grounds to believe that information has been breached, we are obliged to notify the regulator and the affected persons.

    • User participation: You have the right to know what information Motshodi has pertaining to you and may request the records or description of the information in our possession.
